Week 77 Review

Another relatively quiet but positive week, with combined paper loss down to just £950.

There was just one double digit loser this week, with TLOU:Tlou Energy dropping 10% and almost down to my purchase price. Potential profits have gone from about £700 to just £76 in about a month. If it goes into loss, then maybe I should consider buying more, although there are probably more reliable prospects I should go for ahead of this one.

CWR:Ceres Power Holdings climbed 10% and has staged a major recovery after slipping for a prolonged period. Potential profits are up to £570 but they were over £1,000 a few months ago.

Share of the Week was RED:RedT Energy which has bounced back to 11p after the 8p placing caused a crash. This week it was up 12% and potential profits are £340. There's a lot further for this to go though!

Here's the combined ISA and share account performance

Nice increase in value of £313, although most was reduced loss as potential profits dipped slightly. The quarterly dividend of £8.31 came through from CMCL:Caledonia Mining, and I received another £15 from the liquidation of PUR:Pure Wafer. This is now showing a profit following the liquidation of £17.65. I think there should be another £18 to come before this is over. The dividend and liquidation cash means the average monthly profits sneaked up for the first time in a while.

Heading in the right direction - slowly but relentlessly.

About the same rise as the other account, but this was nearly all in increased profits. No sales or dividends so the average monthly profit sneaks down another £3.

The gap widens wonderfully

Typical! In the week SLP:Sylvania Platinum finally goes into profit, when the green line would have crossed the red, I've messed it all up by buying another share which has immediately dropped in value and I'm back to showing a loss. £11.87 isn't enough profit to make me want to sell just yet - I'll be looking for £50-£100 before choosing my next stock.

Grumble grumble...

Hopefully there will be a few more weeks of steady growth which will see my overall paper loss vanish. Can't help feeling it's been going too well though, so a drop is probably round the corner.

Disappointment this week as JLP:Jubilee Platinum promised an update on the Hernic site, but failed to deliver. Thankfully the share price wasn't punished, and although fractionally lower than last week, did stay above 4p. All being well the update will be on Monday and we'll continue north.

OPTI:Optibiotix continue to do well, and are now only £400 down, after being £1,100 down a few weeks ago.

I thought AFG:Aquatic Food would lose the Nemesis Share title one week after earning it, but the flurry of interest was brief, and it's back where it started the week.

Roll on next week...
