At last! The mining licence was granted for Tjate and JLP:Jubilee Platinum has gone into orbit!
The share price was up 50% at one point, but settled to an increase of 36% on more than 100 million trades.
This propelled Jubilee straight into the position of Star Share, making potential profit of £2,555. The ISA holding is up by 63%, share account by 88% and SIPP by 103%,
This is on the day of the news - and before the news has broken on platinum production at Hernic
The 18 month wait and regular top-ups on dips have all paid off.
This is the first time one of my favourite shares has done something like this on news. It's brilliant - and I've loved reading all the comments on the Advfn bulletin board - lots of very happy holders.
The impact on the main portfolio has been staggering, with the combined value up by £2,181 this week. It's still at a paper loss, but just £70. I could be writing a very happy end of week review tomorrow, especially if momentum builds and Jubilee climbs some more, as 6.326p is still ridiculously cheap.
Booked a flight to Costa Rica today - and is cost less than half what Jubilee made me! Woohoo!!
There haven't been many days like this so I'm going to make the most of it. Time for the pub and a celebratory pint!
